The joys of cooking can start early and be a great experience with for your family to develop life long good eating habits. Children over 10 may participate but must be accompanied by an adult.

I would like to learn more about pairing wine and beer with food. Can Taste of Place help me with that?

Of course! pairing beverages with a meal rounds out the whole experience and helps set the stage to convey the thought you put into crafting food you are serving to guests or even to yourself. Taste of Place is happy to help guide you through the selection process. There are fantastic things happening in the local brewing, distilling, and wine making scene but we can also help match you wines of the world to the dishes we will create with local ingredients.

What if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?

Please let us know if anyone in your group has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, etc.) before you purchase your tickets. We will do our best to accommodate special needs.

How do your tours support the community?

We partner with other small independent businesses that contribute to the region’s burgeoning food scene. Our tours help increase awareness about their unique products and issues related to our food community. We hope that our guests will become their loyal customers.

Also, sustainability is at the core of our business. Our tours feature farmers, chefs, and artisans that create high quality products and incorporate sustainability into their own business practices. Shopping and cooking  from local producers  supports the sustainable network! Even one meal a week makes a difference.

How can I partner with Taste of Place?

We are always interested in developing new interactive activities for our guests. We work with many food- and tourism-related businesses and organizations, from farms and vineyards to restaurants and historic sites.
